A very comfortable and elegantly simple Meridienne made from solid beech wood by the middle part of the 19th century. This long piece is covered by yellowish velvet, which is indeed not original and estimated to be 10 years old. It is in a used condition and might need to be replaced at some point. The pediment is featuring an adorably pair of tapered turned front legs and a pair of slightly scrolled back legs, all mounted on the original brass and wooden wheels. Circa date 1870.
