Both are very simple and feature urn motifs on the crestrail. The caning is in original condition and has a minor scratches on one of them (See picture). This pair is supported by 4 charming turned legs. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 37"high/ 18"seat height/ 22"wide/ 18"deep.

The pediment consists of a pair of baluster legs joined to the straight back legs by a H-shaped stretcher. Note the long armrests that provide additional comfort. Circa date 1890. This impressively massive pair is covered by floral upholstery trimmed by large brass nails and featured a boldly sculpted pair of acanthus shaped armrests flanking the large seat, all supported by a sturdy pediment with barley twisted stretchers that insure stability and sturdiness. The fabric is a slight used condition. Circa date 1940. Dimensions: 37 ¾"(height) x 16 ½"(seat height) x 30 ¼"(wide) x 30"(depth)

This pair is rare by its tremendous size, each armchair is very large and consists of a tall rectangular seatback standing upon the wide and deep seat flanked by a thick pair of scrolled armrests intricately accented with floral and acanthus patterns, all supported by a boldly sculpted pediment consisting of very large turned baluster legs connected to each other thanks to a H-shaped stretcher. Note that the fabric is estimated to be 20 years and is in used condition; it would need to be replaced. Circa date 1850. Dimensions 48"high/ 21"seat height/ 28"wide/ 28"deep.
