Pair of 19th Century French Antique Directoire Style Armchairs A pretty pair of armchairs made from beechwood during the end of the 19th Century. Both are very simple and feature urn motifs on the crestrail. The caning is in original condition and has a minor scratches on one of them (See picture). This pair is supported by 4 charming turned legs. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 37"high/ 18"seat height/ 22"wide/ 18"deep.
 

Pair Of 19th Century French Antique Walnut Armchairs Stunning pair of armchairs made from walnut during the last part of the 19th century. Both are intricately embellished with foliates and floral motifs and features a pair of nicely scrolled armrests adorned with acanthus leaves. 4 graceful cabriole legs carved with acanthus rosettes on escargot feet bring support. Note that the fabric needs to be replaced. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 37 ½"high/ 18 ½"seat height/ 25"wide/ 23"deep.
 

19th Century French Antique Louis XIII Style Oak Armchairs Attractive pair of armchairs made from solid oak by the end of the 19th century. Each with rectangular back and seat covered by multi colored upholstery trimmed by brass nails. Note that the upholstery is in used condition and would need to be replaced. The pediment consists of a pair of baluster legs joined to the straight back legs by a H-shaped stretcher. Note the long armrests that provide additional comfort. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 42"high/ 18"seat height/ 25"wide/ 24"deep.
 

Pair of French Vintage Louis XIII Style Armchairs Here is an extremely comfortable pair of armchairs made from solid walnut by the middle part of the 20th century. This impressively massive pair is covered by floral upholstery trimmed by large brass nails and featured a boldly sculpted pair of acanthus shaped armrests flanking the large seat, all supported by a sturdy pediment with barley twisted stretchers that insure stability and sturdiness. The fabric is a slight used condition. Circa date 1940. Dimensions: 37 ¾"(height) x 16 ½"(seat height) x 30 ¼"(wide) x 30"(depth)
 

Pair of 19th Century French Antique Louis XIV Style Walnut Armchairs Elegant pair of hand-crafted armchairs made from solid walnut. The rectangular seat back boasts an impressive bold pierced carved acanthus shaped cartouche and is flanked by charming turned fluted columns and covered armrests. Each armchair is supported by turned fluted legs joined by H-shaped stretcher which insures sturdiness. Please note that this pair needs to be recovered. The lovely patina completes the look. Pair Of French Antique Louis XV Style Walnut Armchairs A pretty pair of armchairs made from solid walnut at the beginning of the 20th century. Each featuring a serpentine-shaped seatback adorned with acanthus and floral patterns upon the large seat flanked by padded armrests all supported by a nicely scrolled apron on cabriole legs. The floral upholstery is not original and is in used condition, it is necessary to replace it. The cushion on the seat is removable. Note minor scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Pair Of 19th Century French Antique Louis XV Style Armchairs This is a very appealing pair of late 19th century Armchairs made from solid walnut. Each boasts an impressive embellishment depicting acanthus pattern from the nicely scrolled seatback to the serpentine shaped seat flanked by padded armrests all standing on graceful cabriole legs. 19th Century French Antique Louis XV Style Bergeres A very pretty pair of armchairs, commonly called Bergeres by the French, made from solid walnut by the beginning of the 19th century. As you can see both of them will need to be padded and upholstered. This pair consists of an adorably scrolled and exquisitely patinaed frame simply but elegantly adorned with acanthus patterns and supported by charming cabriole legs. Circa date 1800. Dimensions: 36"(height) x 14 ¼"(seat height) x 27"(wide) x 19 ½"(depth)
 

Pair of 19th Century French Antique Louis XVI Style Armchairs Here is an exquisite pair of lacquered armchairs made from solid beechwood by the end of the 19th century consisting of a medallion shaped seatback standing upon the wide seat flanked by padded armrests and supported by nicely turned fluted legs. Note the lovely twisted ribbon and acanthus patterns embellishing the pair. The fabric is not original and estimated to be 10 years old, it is in used condition and might need to be replaced. Both are featuring their original floral upholstery, which needs to be replaced. Very comfortable, this pair offers a deep seat flanked by long armrests supported by turned columns. The pediment features a pair of turned front legs joined to the back legs by straight stretchers. 19th Century French Antique Napoleon III Style Beech Wood Armchair This is a very cute petite armchair made from beech wood by the end of the 19 century recently covered by white fabric and ready for your favorites upholstery. Such low armchair are commonly called "Chauffeuse" by the French due to their low seat; they were originally placed front of the fire place to stay warm. Today most of them are used for a child’s bedroom. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 29"high/ 14"seat height/ 22"wide/ 20"deep.
 

19th Century Spanish Antique Renaissance Style Chestnut Armchairs This is a massive pair of armchairs handcrafted from solid chestnut by the end of the 19th century. Each is embellished with an upper frieze centering a Fleur de Lys flanked by acanthus leaves and features thick scrolled armrests above the straight seat supported by boldly sculpted turned legs connected to the straight back legs by stretchers. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 39 ½"high/ 15 ¾"seat height/ 24"wide/ 28"deep.


 

Pair of 19th Century French Antique Renaissance Style Walnut Armchairs Here is a rare and splendid pair of armchairs handcrafted from solid walnut by the middle part of the 19th century during the reign of Napoleon III. This pair is rare by its tremendous size, each armchair is very large and consists of a tall rectangular seatback standing upon the wide and deep seat flanked by a thick pair of scrolled armrests intricately accented with floral and acanthus patterns, all supported by a boldly sculpted pediment consisting of very large turned baluster legs connected to each other thanks to a H-shaped stretcher. Note that the fabric is estimated to be 20 years and is in used condition; it would need to be replaced. Circa date 1850. Dimensions 48"high/ 21"seat height/ 28"wide/ 28"deep.
