Pair of 19th Century French Antique Oak Side Chairs from Brittany A charming pair of side chairs made from solid oak by the end of the 19th century. This adorable pair is originally from Brittany and featuring the classical spindle motif on the richly carved back seat, which stands upon the padded seat covered by colored needlepoint with floral patterns. The upholstery is not original and estimated to be 50 years old; it is in fair condition and would need to be replaced. The pediment consists of a pair of frontal baluster legs joined to the straight back legs by H-shaped stretcher. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 34"high/ 18"seat height/ 14"wide/ 15"deep.


 

Set of 6 French Antique Empire Period Mahogany Dining Chairs This is a very charming set of 6 dining chairs made from solid mahogany at the beginning of the 19th century. This is set is originally coming from Avignon and belonged to a collector which explain their good condition. Note that a few scratches can be seen here and there on the frame.
