French Louis Philippe Style Child Desk An interesting beginning of the 20th century child desk made from beech wood. This piece is topped by a black with gilt borders vinyl which is not original and was added at some point. This charming petite piece is very convenient with 1 large drawer beside 3 smaller ones mounted with brass handles. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 28"high/ 36"wide/ 20 ½"deep.

 

French Vintage Louis XV Style Cherry Desk This is an elegantly simple desk made from solid and nicely patinaed cherry by the first quarter of the 20th century. This lovely piece is topped by a serpentine shaped yellowish leather top trimmed by gilt borders and honoring the serpentine shape of the top, which can be extended thanks to matching pull out leaves. The façade is simple and provides a 3-drawer frieze mounted with acanthus shaped handles and escutcheon. The pediment consists of boldly sculpted cabriole legs providing sturdiness. Note that leather is not original and estimated to be 10-20 years old. It is in used but still good condition. Circa date 1920. Dimensions 30"high/ 54"long/ 82"long with leaves out/ 30"deep.
 

18th Century French Antique Louis XV Style Walnut Desk Here is a beautifully patinaed and elegantly simple desk made from solid walnut by the end of the 18th century. This adorable antique is consisting of a rectangular top mounted with yellowish leather trimmed by brass nails sitting upon a lovely scrolled belt supported by graceful cabriole legs. Note that the leather is indeed not original and was added by the previous owner. Hardware as the lock, escutcheon and key are from the end of the 19th century. Circa date 1790. 19th Century French Antique Louis XVI Style Oak Writing Table A simple and lovely writing table made from oak by the end of the 19th century featuring a large single drawer with brass knobs and supported by 4 tapered fluted legs. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 29" high/ 37" wide/ 22 ¼" deep.
 

19th Century French Antique Louis XVI Style Parisian Mahogany Desk Here is a handsome Parisian Desk made during the reign of Napoleon III by the middle part of the 19th century from an exquisitely patinaed mahogany. Such desk is commonly called "Bureau de Milieu" or "Bureau Double Face" due to the faux drawers frieze on the back of the desk, allowing the piece to be in the center of the room. Its original greenish leather sitting upon a straight belt featuring 3 drawers providing their original key tops this splendid piece. The pediment consists of gracefully turned legs on cast bronze sabots. Note that the leather is torn and might need to be replaced (Keep in mind that it is the original leather). Circa date 1850. 19th Century French Antique Louis XVI Style Painted Desk Here is an elegantly simple painted desk made during the end of the 19th century highlighted by a colorful reddish vinyl contoured by gilt borders sitting upon a straight belt providing a total of 4 desk mounted with brass escutcheons, all supported by tapered turned fluted legs. The paint is not original and estimated to be from the 1970’s. The vinyl is not original and was recently added by the previous owner. Note minor marks, dents and scratches due to the age. Circa date 1880. Dimensions: 31 ½"(height) x 45 ½"(wide) x 24"(depth)
 

19th Century French Antique Pine Child Desk An adorable rustic child desk made from solid pine by the middle part of the 19th century consisting of a folding writing area revealing a large storage compartment in between an upper niche and a bottom drawer. Massive straight legs sturdily support this cute piece. Circa date 1850. Dimensions 36"high/ 34"wide/ 22"deep.
 

19th Century French Antique Renaissance Style Purple Wood Desk Here is an elegant and beautifully patinaed desk made during the second half of the 19th century and boasting an exquisite purple wood veneer for an appealing result. The rectangular top is covered by an inset black vinyl trimmed by gilt border sitting upon the handsome façade providing a total of 4 drawers, each mounted with the original lock and supported by 8 tapered turned columns standing on large and sturdy H-shaped stretcher mounted on ball feet. Note the additional working area provided by the single pull out leaf located at the left end. Minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1880.
