A splendid beginning of the 19th century Religious Decorative Marble Panel coming from a church in Auvergne (Central part of France). This sumptuous piece was handcrafted from a single piece of Carrera Marble and boasts breathtaking details. This panel depicts one of the apparitions of Christ to St Margaret Mary Alacoque where Christ informed her that she was His chosen instrument to spread devotion to His Sacred Heart. Circa date 1810. A simple but pretty painted tabernacle made from pine by the middle part of the 19th Century. The facade features a lovely arched and accented central door featuring its original lock and key and in between a pair of faux marble columns. Note that the interior compartment is padded. 19th Century Marble Tabernacle Facade
Splendid handcrafted Marble Tabernacle Facade mostly made from solid Carerra marble and featuring a pair of tapered and accented columns made from Red Griotte Marble flanking the arched brass door intricately accented with the Initial A.M. The lock and the key are in original condition. The pair of bronze brackets located on each upper corner was used to hold a pair of torchieres, which have been sold separately. Circa date 1860. Dimensions 22"high/ 19"wide/ 3 ½"deep.
