French Antique Art Nouveau Mahogany Vitrine This is a huge Vitrine made from solid mahogany at the beginning of the 20th century. This piece originally comes from Perpignan in the south west of France; it used to belong to a conservatory and was used to display musical instruments or trophies. The molded cornice is centering a lovely medallion with a detailed embellishment depicting what seems to be a young woman. This item features 3 adjustable glass shelves supported by brass brackets (More shelves can be made if requested). Hardware is in original condition. Circa date 1900. 19th Century French Antique Directoire Period Pine Vitrine An adorable rustic curio made from pine by the beginning of the 19th century featuring a pair of glass doors revealing an efficient display compartment with 3 shelves, all the interior is covered with velvet which would need to be remove or replaced. 19th Century French Antique Empire Period Walnut Bookcase

Here is an elegantly simple and massive bookcase made from a beautifully patinaed walnut at the beginning of the 19th century. This piece is topped by a large flat molded cornice sitting upon the step-back façade flanked by a pair of demi lune columns mounted with bronze ormolus, providing a pair of triple paneled doors revealing an efficient storage capacity with 3 shelves. Note that the chicken wire is not original and estimated to be from the beginning of the 20th century. A few minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age but nothing obvious. Circa date 1810. Dimensions 88"high/ 65"wide/ 22"deep.


 

19th Century Italian Antique Renaissance Style Painted Bookcase This is a very pretty and decorative bookcase made from pine at the end of the 19th century. This appealing piece of furniture is very convenient thanks to 3 display areas, each with a couple of adjustable shelves, revealed by 3 doors mounted with their original beveled glass panes. Hardware is in original condition. Note the intricately carved acanthus shaped legs, which complete the look while bringing stability. Note some minor chips here and there due the age. Note the 3-drawer frieze located at the bottom of the piece and providing additional storage. Glass panes are in original condition. Note the inlaid Maltese Cross centering the upper frieze. 18th Century French Antique Louis XV Style Chestnut Bookcase Here is a massive Bookcase handcrafted from solid chestnut by the end of the 18th century during the end of the reign of Louis XVI. This large piece is mounted by a chapeau de gendarme cornice sitting upon a straight open façade featuring a total of 3 large shelves (non adjustable), all standing on a nicely scrolled apron supported by slightly scrolled cabriole legs. This piece is originally coming from Vendee and must has been an armoire converted into a bookcase at some point. The paint is estimated to be from the beginning of the 20th century. Circa date 1780. Dimensions 83"high/ 59"wide/ 24"deep.
 

French Antique Louis XVI Style Pine Bookcase An impressive and massive bookcase made from solid pine at the beginning of the 20th century originally coming from Aubenas (Ardeche France). This huge piece was actually built into the wall and the current back panel has been added recently. This piece consists of a flat molded cornice sitting upon an open façade providing a total of 5 non-adjustable shelves flanked by fluted sides. Circa date 1900. A very efficient storage capacity is provided thanks to the large interior compartment and the pair of bottom drawer (One is hidden in the apron).
