French Antique Art Nouveau Mahogany Vitrine This is a huge Vitrine made from solid mahogany at the beginning of the 20th century. This piece originally comes from Perpignan in the south west of France; it used to belong to a conservatory and was used to display musical instruments or trophies. The molded cornice is centering a lovely medallion with a detailed embellishment depicting what seems to be a young woman. This item features 3 adjustable glass shelves supported by brass brackets (More shelves can be made if requested). Hardware is in original condition. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 133"high/ 56"wide/ 20"deep.  

19th Century Italian Antique Renaissance Style Painted Bookcase This is a very pretty and decorative bookcase made from pine at the end of the 19th century. This appealing piece of furniture is very convenient thanks to 3 display areas, each with a couple of adjustable shelves, revealed by 3 doors mounted with their original beveled glass panes. Hardware is in original condition. Note the intricately carved acanthus shaped legs, which complete the look while bringing stability. Note some minor chips here and there due the age. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 68"high/ 79"wide/ 24"deep.  

19th Century French Antique Louis Philippe Period Bookcase A very simple and rustic bookcase made from solid pine by the end of the reign of Louis Philippe, featuring an upper part providing a pair of glass doors revealing a large display area with 4 non-adjustable shelves upon a bottom compartment; hidden by a pair of paneled recessed doors; offering additional storage. Note that the painting is not original, except for the interior and that 2 of the glass panes were replaced at the beginning of the 20th century. Circa date 1840. Dimensions 79 ¼" high/ 57" wide/ 17" deep.  

French Antique Louis XV Style Walnut Vitrine This is an exquisite vitrine made from walnut by the beginning of the 20th century featuring a chapeau de gendarme cornice highlighted by an upper frieze, accented with floral and foliate pattern, above the arched single glass door revealing a large display compartment with 3 shelves. Note that only the glass door pane is original, both side panes have been replaced at some point. The pediment consists of a nicely scrolled pierced carved apron supported by cabriole legs. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 74"high/ 38"wide/ 17"deep.  

French Antique Louis XV Style Walnut Bookcase This is a very nicely patinaed bookcase made from solid walnut at the beginning of the 20th century offering an efficient storage and display capacity thanks to the central niche, featuring a pair of shelves, flanked by a pair of glass doors revealing larger compartments with adjustable shelves. Note the 3-drawer frieze located at the bottom of the piece and providing additional storage. Glass panes are in original condition. Note the inlaid Maltese Cross centering the upper frieze. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 62 ½"high/ 60 ½"wide/ 17"deep.  

19th Century French Antique Louis XV Style Oak Vitrine This is a very nice Vitrine made from solid oak by the end of the 19th century featuring an intricately carved cartouche depicting acanthus and floral patterns upon a pair of nicely embellished arched paneled glass doors revealing an efficient storage compartment offering 3 adjustable shelves, all standing on an adorably scrolled apron supported by cabriole legs. Note that the glass panes are not original and were replaced at some point. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 73"high/ 33"wide/ 13"deep.  

French Antique Louis XVI Style Pine Bookcase An impressive and massive bookcase made from solid pine at the beginning of the 20th century originally coming from Aubenas (Ardeche France). This huge piece was actually built into the wall and the current back panel has been added recently. This piece consists of a flat molded cornice sitting upon an open façade providing a total of 5 non-adjustable shelves flanked by fluted sides. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 113 ½"high/ 85"wide/ 14"deep.

 

18th Century French Antique Louis XVI Period Bookcase This is a large and massive painted bookcase made from solid pine by the end of the reign of Louis XVI at the end of the 18th century. The flat molded cornice is sitting upon a straight façade featuring a pair of paneled doors, which are mounted with chicken wire and reveal a large storage and display capacity thanks to 3 shelves. Note that the wire is not original and estimated to be from the beginning of the 20th century. Lock and key are in original condition. Note a few chips on the painting, which is original. Circa date 1790. Dimensions 92"high/ 63"wide/ 24"deep.  

French Antique Louis XVI Style Mahogany Demi-Lune Bookcase A lovely Demi-Lune Bookcase made from mahogany by the middle part of the 20th century. The white with grey veins Carrera sits upon a single glass door revealing a display area with a pair of adjustable glass shelves. Note that the back mirror and the glass panels are in original condition. The central compartment is flanked by quarter of moon shelves, which offer additional storage. 4 charming fluted legs bring support. Circa date 1940. Dimensions 48"high/ 48 ½"wide/ 14"deep.
